Calvin Earl Pressley

Calvin Earl Pressley , 86, died December 10th 2017 at his home following a long term illness. He leaves his wife of 59years, Marion (May) Pressley; his son, Banks Austin Pressley and his wife Kelli (Bowers) Pressley; two grandchildren Matthew Austin Pressley and Mackenzie Faith Pressley; and many good friends. Born and raised in York, SC, the son of Banks Cauthen Pressley and Mary (Miskelly) Pressley. Earl was a Bronze Star recipient for his service in the US Army during the Korean War. He had a passion for wood working with his wife and competitive and target shooting with his son and grandchildren. A private service will be held at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home in Rock Hill, SC. In leu of flowers donations can be sent to The Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
