Carl Edward "Wormy" Eaton III, whose roots ran deep in Charlotte, NC soil, left this world to tend to the great restoration project in the sky on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on July 10, 1952, Carl was the son of the late Carl, Jr. and Frances Jacqueline Adams Eaton, and was a true Charlottean at heart. He was never one to "buck" his responsibilities, especially when it came to his passion for hunting and bragging on his trophies. A man of the earth, he enjoyed motocross racing and found solace atop his tractor, plowing through life's challenges with a steady hand and a clear vision. A proud graduate of Olympic High School, Carl furthered his education at Gardner-Webb University, where he cultivated his mind as diligently as he would a field. As the man behind Eaton Restoration Company, Carl crafted his career with the same strength and precision as the structures he spent his life restoring.
"Wormy" wriggled his way into the hearts and lives of his three daughters: Amanda Eaton, Ashley Burris, and Alesha Munn and her husband, Jackie, teaching them the value of hard work and the importance of family. His legacy branches out through his beloved grandchildren: Noah Eaton, Aubrey Eaton, Ethan Burris, Haley Burris, Thomas Munn and his wife, Mallory, Keri Munn, Kailey Munn; great grandchildren: Madden Munn, Aiden Munn, Gracen Munn, as well as his sister Susan Eaton and his nieces and nephews and many more loving family and friends.
