Carol Kerr Angley, 63, passed away at Caromont Regional Medical Center, on Sunday, July 10, 2016.

Born in Hampton, VA, Carol was a daughter of William Edward Kerr, Sr. and Mary Fonville Turner. She loved flowers and shopping, but more than that, she loved her family. She was affectionately known by her grandchildren as Maw Maw. Carol attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Billy B. Angley; daughter, Heather Brown (Dana); son, Brett Price (Brandi); 2 brothers, William Edward Kerr, Jr. and Brian Kerr; 2 sisters, Deborah E. Frierson (Gary Stevens) and Caroline Kerr; and 5 grandchildren, Austin, Makenzie, Makayla, Madison and Cooper.

A service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at 11am Thursday, July 14, 2016 in the chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia. Burial will follow at Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
