Carolyn Roberts Ferrell

Rock Hill- Mrs. Carolyn Roberts Ferrell, 74, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017, at the American Legion Post 34.

A native of Tabor City, NC, Mrs. Ferrell was a daughter of the late James (Shorty) Roberts and Ethel Mae Blanton Roberts.

Surviving are her husband of 30 years, James (Jimmy) Ferrell; a daughter, Anna Timothy Miller Thomas and her husband, Richard Thomas III of Rock HIll; and a brother, J.P. Roberts and his wife, Shirley of Lawrence, Ga.

She worked at Walmart on Dave Lyle Blvd. for 13 years. When not at work she enjoyed gardening and entertaining with her husband. Carolyn and Jimmy especially looked forward to their annual spring party which was always packed.

She was a life long member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed attending church when her health was good.

In her spare time she was an active member of the American Legion Aux. She was also a past member of the Crescent Shrine Club Aux where she enjoyed giving back to the community.
