Carter Barry Ratliff was born to us on Earth and entered the arms of Jesus on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 6:20 a.m..

Carter is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, Joshua and Carla, big brother Noah, his grandparents, his great-grandparents, his aunts and uncles, his cousins and many others. Carter will always remain his parents precious baby and Noah's little brother, and they will hold him again in heaven one day. Until that day comes, Carter will be held in the hearts of all who loved him.

Joshua and Carla would like to extend a special thanks to their nurse Tracy and staff at Carolinas Medical Center, Pineville, for the special love and care shown to the family during their time at the hospital.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at 11:00 am at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC, with Pastor Carl Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, Carter's parents request that memorials contributions may be made to the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation. You may mail a check in Carter's memory to 7500 E.
