Catherine Pearl Harris

Catherine Harris, 76, went home to be with Jesus Thursday, December 18, 2015 at CMC Pineville. Mrs. Harris was born in Rock Hill to the late William and Bessie Cherry and was preceded in death by her husband Wendell L. Harris. Mrs. Harris was employed by the Celenese Corporation for over 20 years and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Rock Hill. She is survived by her sons, Lieutenant Colonel Anthony N. Harris (US Army) and George Lucas, both of Rock Hill Allen Harris, of Clinton, SC; a daughter, Lisa Harris, of Lake Wylie, SC. Mrs. Harris is also survived by her sisters, Betty Gault, of Ashland, OH, Sylvia Christie, Dianne Parker, and Helen Cherry, all of Rock Hill, SC; a brother, Wayne Cherry, of Rock Hill, SC. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:00pm in Grandview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00pm Tuesday evening at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org/donate in her name
