Cathy Lynn Mckoy-Dockins

Cathy Lynn Mckoy passed away on May 4, 2024. To all who knew and cared for her, please take solace in knowing that she went peacefully in her sleep and did her best to make peace with everyone she loved prior to her passing.

Known for her passion for art, music, and nature, Cathy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Cathy’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Griggs-Wilkins, her two brothers, Gary Mckoy and Rodney Mckoy, her two sisters, Pam Lovvorn, and Michelle Mckoy as well as her son and daughter, Robert Earl White III and Amy Nicole Bruce.  She is also survived by her Grandchildren whom she loved and adored more than life itself: Dylynn Thompson, Makenze White, Robert White, Lyla White, and Adalynn Bruce.

An open memorial is being held at Palmetto Funeral Home in Fort Mill, SC on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary, but please feel free to add any memories you may have of her and want to share in the Celebration of Life Guest Book while you are in attendance.
