Charles L. Hayes

Charles L. Hayes, 62, of Sharon, SC passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Born in Kershaw County, SC, Mr. Hayes was the son of the late Lee and Christine Hayes. He served in the US Army during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Hayes, and 2 brothers, Danny and Terry Hayes. He is survived by his loving wife, Debby Hayes; a daughter, Dani Hayes Rowland of Sharon, SC; 2 sons, Daniel Hayes of Sharon, SC and Josh Hayes of McConnells, SC; a sister, June Threatt of Cassatt, SC; and 7 grandchildren, McKenzie, Sarah, Ian, KelleeAnn, Emmie Lou, Lilly Ann, and Daniel. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hayes will be held 2PM Saturday, July 13, 2013 in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Rev. John W. Cody, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill, SC. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, July 12, 2013 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
