ROCK HILL - Charles Robert Lowe, 71, of 330 Dot Faris Road, died Thursday. September 26, 2013, at his home.

Born in Pounding Mill, Virginia, he is the son of the late James Robert Lowe and the late June Phillips Eanes. Charles was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He had a big heart and loved people. He also would always help others when they needed him.

Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Whitesell Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Bagley Lowe; four sons, Karl Lowe (Christine), Larry Walker Jr. (Teena), Brady Walker (Angela), and James Walker; two daughters, Kimberly Adams (Brian) and Carolyn Patterson; two brothers, Morris David Lowe (Jewell) and Roger Lowe; and 11 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a son, Kevin Lowe.
