Rock Hill-- Charles William Mangum, 65, a longtime resident of Rock Hill, died Thursday, June 11, 2015. He was employed by Bowater for 42 years and was an avid motorcyclist and a charter member of the Rock Hill Barbell Club. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marisa Bolton and a sister, Gail Hunt. He is survived by: 3 children: James W. Mangum, Ronald C. Mangum & wife Dorothy, Angie Mangum; 4 sisters: Debbie Henderson, Kay Carnes, Karen Taylor, Kathy Wallace; 2 brothers: Tony Mangum, Robert Reeves; 2 grandchildren: Michelle and Jessica; lifelong friends: Joe Quinn, James Evans, Rui Silva, and Christina Settlemyer. a funeral will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11;00am in the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
