Charles Thomas "Chuck" Mozingo

Charles "Chuck" Thomas Mozingo, 45, of Rock Hill, died Thursday, July 14, 2016. He was a lifelong member of Harmony Baptist Church. Chuck loved his family and his job as a member of the Rock Hill Fire Department Station 1. His perfect day would have been fishing with his sons. . They nicknamed him "Nail" throughout his football career because he was stiff as nails. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane T. Mozingo. He is survived by his wife, Laura K. Mozingo; his 2 sons, Jesse and Jake Mozingo; his father, Jerry Lee Mozingo, Sr; 2 brothers, Lee Mozingo (Kimberly), Joe Mozingo (Lauren); nieces and nephews, Austin, Kody, Gracie, Emma, Hollis, Harper Mozingo, Charlie, Clay, and Rebecca Kilby. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 ay 4:00pm in the Harmony Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery with full Fire Department Honors. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until service time Tuesday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Bone Marrow Donor Program at Duke University Hopsital at dukehealth.org.
