Charles Robert (Bob) Pitzer Jr

Mr. Charles Robert (Bob) Pitzer, Jr., age 79, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home in Fort Mill, South Carolina surrounded by family. Born in Bluefield, West Virginia, he lived in Ohio and West Virginia before moving to Fort Mill in 1997.

Bob was the son of the late Charles Robert and Ruby Pitzer. A Navy veteran and retired information technology professional, he was also a lifelong golfer, shooting his age dozens of times. When he wasn't golfing, he could often be found cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and WVU Sports.

He is survived by his wife, Patti, a sister, Shirley Hannigan, of New Bern, North Carolina, as well as three children—Charles Robert Pitzer of Springfield, Virginia; Natalie Andrea Pitzer of Falls Church, Virginia; and Christopher Ryan Pitzer of Atlanta, Georgia—and four grandchildren.

A private celebration of life may be held at a later date.
