Charles R. Row, 76, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill from complications associated with Parkinson's disease. A native of Arkansas, KS, Mr. Row was born December 4, 1935 son of the late Roy and Abigail Murtz Row. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 1957 and worked at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX, before transferring to the National Headquarters of NASA in Washington, DC. He also worked with the National Science Foundation as director of personnel and the Farm Credit Administration from 1960 to 1993 before retiring to Ocala, FL where he lived with his wife of 36 years Gwen Mills Row from 1996 to 2010 when they moved to Rock Hill. Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, one daughter and six grandchildren. Services are private.
