Charles (Charlie) N Williams

Rock Hill, SC - Charles (Charlie) N. Williams, 93, of Rock Hill, passed peacefully on October 12, 2024, at his home.

Charlie was born on September 24th, 1931, to Lee and Margaret Williams of Rock Hill, he was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean T. Williams and daughter Vicky Williams Lowry. Charlie is survived by a son, Doug Williams (Mandy), grandsons Matthew (Allee) and Mark, great grandsons Foster and Asher Williams.

Charlie attended Rock Hill schools where he was a football standout for the Rock Hill High Bearcats. He later retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing where he worked in the Screen-Printing Department for over 40 years. After retirement he and Jeanie moved “to the country” to be closer to Doug, Mandy and the grandchildren. Charlie found a trustworthy companion in his dog Bandit, who brought many smiles to his face.  While living there, he and Jeanie forged long-lasting friendships with David and Lou Fudge and Bobby and Ann Hargrove. Many an afternoon you could find Charlie, David and “Bandit” sitting at the picnic table “shooting the breeze.”

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family are asking for donations to agencies supporting Hurricane Helene Relief in North and South Carolina, in memory of Charlie.
