Charlie Olin Yarborough

Rock Hill – Mr. Charles “Charlie” Olin Yarborough, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 26, 2018.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Inspiration Baptist Church, 921 Comer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732, with Rev. Roland Dry, Sr. officiating.

A native of Fort Mill, SC, Mr. Yarborough was a son of the late James Olin Yarborough and Mamie Elizabeth Estridge Yarborough. He was a veteran of the U.S Army Reserve. He was a simple man who loved going to the beach, gardening and listening to Elvis Presley. He was an avid sports fans and his favorite teams were Fort Mill High School, Nations Ford High School, the Carolina Gamecocks, the San Francisco 49ers, and the New York Yankees. He was a member of Inspiration Baptist Church, and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Gloria “Donna” Garrison Yarborough; two sons, Scott Bolin (Nikki) and Matthew Bolin (Danielle); two daughters, Amy Y. Hollingsworth (Brad) and Shannon Martin (Brandon); one brother, James Yarborough (Cindy); one sister, Robin Yarborough; and 5 grandchildren, Abbey, Madison, Tristan, Lucas, and Jacob.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Whitesell Funeral Home.
