Chasity Coggins Gentry

Chasity Coggins Gentry, 42, of York passed away on Tuesday January 8, 2019 following a brief illness. Chasity was born on September 27, 1976 in Rock Hill to John Henry Coggins Sr. and Saundra Howard Coggins. She was a graduate of Northwestern High School class of 1994.
Chasity was a hardworking, selfless, caring, and loving mother. She was fierce in her love for family. Nothing was more important to her than spending time with family.
Her spirit is beautiful and indomitable and lives on in all those who she has touched.
In addition to her parents those left to cherish her memory include her husband James "Brian" Gentry of the home, one son Jackson Gentry of the home, brothers John Henry Coggins Jr. of Clover and Joshua Heath Coggins and wife Jessica of Rock Hill. Also surviving are several special nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on January 14, 2019, at 1:00 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church, Rock Hill. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on January 13, 2019, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill. At other times the family will gather at the residence of John and Saundra Coggins at 2133 Willow Lane, Rock Hill, SC.
