Cheryl Anita Rogers

Cheryl Anita Boggs Rogers, 61, of 1915 Ebenezer Road, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. A native of Columbus, Ga, Ms. Rogers was born June 15, 1948 a daughter of the late Anita Raborn Sollitto and Frank Sollitto of Richmond, VA. She was formerly employed as a secretary with Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Surviving are three children John C. Rogers, III and wife Jessica of Fayetteville, NC, Shannon Williams and husband Robert of Rock Hill, and Steven Rogers of Columbia; two brothers Roy Boggs and wife Jane of Lancaster and Danny Sollitto of Daytona, FL; two sisters Gail Earls and husband Sherman of Abingdon, VA, and Stephanie Alexander and husband Jim of Ft. Mill; also five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Wednesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Rogers will be held Thursday at 11:00am at Rawlinson Road Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
