Fort Mill, SC - Christine Lucette Genn, 74, of Fort Mill, SC went to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, February 24, 2024.
She was born to the late Robert E. Genn and the late Huguette G. Beuvelet on October 26, 1949, in West Chester, PA. Christine graduated from Great Valley High School in 1967 and worked as an executive assistant until she retired.
She spent 14 loving years with her devoted husband, Paul Case of Fort Mill, SC. Christine is also survived by her four daughters, Elise (Robert) Egerton, Amy Shope, Michele (Phil) Rathman, Kristal (Doug) McGaha; a step-daughter, Jennifer (Tommy) Logue; her grandchildren, Chyenne, Cory, Ashe, Gabrielle, Lauren, Sophia, Jakob, Aedan, Nevin, Brookelyn, Emma, Hailey, TJ, Brandon, and Taylor; 6 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Robert (Marianna) Genn II, Nancy Matthews, David Genn, and Denise (Robb) Burmeister all of whom she was extremely close to; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Geraldine Perry and Marlene Matthews.
Christine loved photographing weddings and enjoyed painting in her spare time. She was an active member of her church, Glenrock Baptist Church and a member of the IAAP. She was also fond of visiting her extended family in France. She was known for her caring heart and generously helping others. She always made the best of any situation and was the epitome of a “superwoman,” self-sacrificing, strong and able to make something work, no matter what. She raised four girls on barely anything and found a way to educate herself in order to provide for her family. She never had an easy life, but she was resilient and steadfast in her faith in God. She believed in the power of prayer and let that carry her through any hardship that arose. She loved her family fiercely and her life reflected that love. She will forever be cherished in the lives of her family, who will miss her dearly.
