Nashua,NH. - Christopher David (Case) Gagnon, 38, of 5 Gillis St., died Wednesday, December 17th, 2014, at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, in Boston, Mass.
Chris was born in Cedar City, Utah, the son of Brent Steven Case and Wanda Force Case, as Christopher David Case. When he was 21, he moved with his parents to New Hampshire. He married Katrina Gagnon and later divorced. He changed his name to Gagnon so her son could share the family name. Because his cancer medical records started during this marriage, it was retained as his legal name until he passed away. All of his friends and family knew him as Chris Case.
He worked in Technical Services with Industrial Labeling Systems and Polaroid. He started his career as a Linux Quality Software Engineer with Russsound and currently with Canonical (Unbuntu), all located in the Boston area. While working for Canonical, he enjoyed traveling to all parts of the world for his job. He was a licensed Amateur (Ham) Radio operator (KB1FQC)
Chris was a political activist, always working hard to preserve freedom and personal choice. He was currently active in Free State Project in New Hampshire.
He is survived by his Father, Brent S. Case and Mother, Wanda Force Case (Rock Hill, SC), and his twin brother, Colby Sessions Case (Rock Hill, SC).
A private graveside service will be held in Rock Hill, SC. Flowers and condolences can be directed to the Whitesell Funeral Home.
