Christopher Daniel Wymbs

Christopher Daniel Wymbs passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024 with family and a few close friends by his side in Rock Hill, SC. Born October 20, 1974 in Somerville, NJ, he graduated from Delaware Valley High School in Milford, PA in 1993. While at DV, Chris participated in Odyssey of the Mind events and excelled in art classes. He was an avid learner with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge that led him to pursue college and multiple graduate degrees. Chris’s love for travel took him to visit 49 of the 50 US states, living abroad in both Germany and Mexico, and exploring many foreign countries. He enjoyed meeting strangers everywhere he went because they inevitably became friends. Chris relished telling stories of his adventures, most of which would elicit laughter. In any of the communities in which he lived, even for short periods of time, he was an active member and always loved participating in and watching live theater. Chris loved to jump in his Jeep Wrangler with his dog Charlotte and his wife April and drive off to new places that usually involved a hike, sightseeing, local history, playing pinball, or all the above.

Christopher is survived by his wife April, mother Judith, and siblings Courtney, Kerry, Renee, Bob and Bill, while dearly departed are his beloved siblings, Daniel and Elizabeth and father Robert John.
