Clayton John Lunsford

Clayton John Lunsford, 35, passed peacefully June 22, 2024 in his home of Charlotte, NC. He is survived by his loving family of mother and stepfather Alison and Chris Fowler of Rock Hill, SC, father Joel Lunsford of Lake Hartwell, SC, sister Jessica Lunsford of Austin, TX, son Ayden Lunsford of Wilmington, NC, grandparents John and Shirley Lunsford of Spartanburg, SC and many other family members he loved spread over the state of South Carolina. Clayton was a true renaissance man, who lived and loved like tomorrow was his last day on earth. He was a gifted interdisciplinary artist, and culinary innovator that could turn any mundane meal into a special delicacy with seeming ease. His positive attitude spread light among his peers, and anyone who knew him felt his positive aurora. Clayton’s uplifting presence will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace my son, and friend. Arrangements will be at a later date.
