Coy Lee Robbins Jr.

Coy Lee Robbins, Jr. went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2023, at the age of 59.  He was born February 25, 1964, in Salisbury, NC, the eldest of two sons to Coy Lee Robbins, Sr and Glenda Clawson Robbins.  Lee graduated from Osceola High School in Osceola, AR in 1982.  He gave his heart to God and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1983.  In November 1985, he married Shawn Starkey and they were married for 38 years until his passing.  He and his wife were active in church teaching children’s church and youth group for a while and then ran the audio and video in church services for many years.  In 2007, Lee started and operated a successful fire alarm business that he would later get to share with his daughter, Tiffany.  One of his favorite things was riding ATV’s. He would often say that ATV’s were better than horses because you didn’t have to feed and take care of them.  One year they got 18 inches of snow and took turns riding their horse, Laddie.  That day he did admit that in that circumstance horses were better than ATV’s because he couldn’t ride them in the deep snow.  Lee also enjoyed fishing and playing golf, especially with his daughter.  In the last few years, he was very passionate about gardening and growing fresh vegetables.  He would often share his passion with others in conversation and by taking pictures.  One of the most memorable things about Lee is that he loved having fun and making people laugh.  In addition to his wife, Shawn, surviving him is his daughter, Tiffany Brooke Robbins and his brother Christopher Mark Robbins, Chris’ wife Kiyoko and their three children, Doran, Brynn and Kinsley.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Ultimate Life Church 377 Carowinds Blvd Unit 125 Fort Mill, SC  29708.
