Crystal M. Boatwright

Crystal Boatwright, 39, of Rock Hill South Carolina, passed away Friday at home.

Crystal was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on March 5, 1982, to Rickey and Sandra Boatwright. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her aunt and uncle, Margie and Fred Boatwright who cared for her before school age.

Crystal was a huge animal lover where she not only volunteered at York County Humane Society but also in Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina to help save the lives of many distressed animals, she was also the manager of Bass Shoes for 16 years before closing.

In addition to her parents, Crystal is survived by her sister Renee B. Rieger (John) of Plymouth MI, her loving aunts, uncles and cousins of Rock Hill, SC, special friend Jason Carter of Rock Hill, SC and her beloved cats, Ozzie and Sly.

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday August 25, 2021 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel. The family will gather from 1:00pm until 2:00pm to greet friends.
