Cynthia "Cindy" Stewart Breth

Cynthia “Cindy” Stewart Breth, 54, of Pineville, NC went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2020. She was born July 7, 1966 in Charlotte, NC to Glenn Stewart and Helen Whetstone Stewart. Cindy grew up in Pineville and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1984.

Cindy worked as a data entry assistant for Mecklenburg County Clerk of Superior Courts office for numerous years, along with positions with Atrium Healthcare and DSS of Union County. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She was also an avid animal lover. One of her favorite pastimes was taking trips to the beach and traveling to see her daughter and granddaughter where ever that may have been.

Most important to her was her family and she will forever be remembered as a loving mother, GiGi, daughter, aunt and friend.

Preceded in death by her mother, Helen W. Stewart of Pineville, NC. Maternal grandparents Charles and Eve Whetstone of Pineville, NC and paternal grandmother Beatrice Paul of Charlotte, NC.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Christian Breth, son-in-law Blake Violette and granddaughter Elena all of Littleton, Maine. Also, her father Glenn Stewart of Pineville, NC, sister Sharon Stewart of Pineville, NC, sister Teresa Stewart Shipman, brother-in-law Scott Shipman and nephew, Garrin Shipman all of Wingate, NC. Cindy’s much-loved canine companion Piddles as well.

A Celebration of Life service will be held by the family on August 15, 2020 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive Fort Mill, SC 29708.
