Cynthia Stewart Garrison

Rock Hill - Mrs. Cynthia Louise Stewart Garrison, 77, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 1, 2017.

Graveside services will be held at Grandview Memorial Park, located on Cherry Road at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Whitesell Funeral Home.

A native of Whitmire, SC, Mrs. Garrison was a daughter of the late Broadus (Buck) Edward Stewart and Ruth Helena Smith Stewart Queen. She was a member of Inspiration Baptist Church where she loved to sing as a choir member. Cynthia had a clothing ministry that provided clothes to those in need. She loved working in her flower garden and will be remembered as an excellent cook.

Surviving are a son, Bruce Hampton Garrison (Cathy); two daughters, Patricia (Pat) Kay Willett (Ralph) and Donna Yarbrough (Charlie); 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Sidney Garrison; a son, Edward Wayne Garrison; and a sister, Shirley Jean Radford.
