Daina Crowe Johnson

Rock Hill - Mrs. Daina Crowe Carswell Johnson, 39, of 479 Mimosa Road, died Friday, August 14, 2015, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015, at First Church of the Nazarene, Rock Hill with Rev. Ron Fite officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

A native of Bellflower, CA, Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late Norman Lee Crowe and Judith Melman Kauffman. Daina was a loving and fun wife, mother, sister, grandmother, cousin, aunt and friend. Her family was the most important thing in her life! Her favorite thing was to have Sunday Family Dinners and be surrounded by as much family and friends as possible and to have as much fun as possible. She also had a huge heart! She took in anyone, no matter who they were, if they needed a place to stay, they became part of the family! She loved Cruises and beach trips. She was the happiest when she was surrounded by her family.

Surviving are her husband, Wylie Johnson, Jr.; three sons, Michael Joseph Ruiz, Jr., and Matthew William Ruiz, (and their father, Michael Joseph Ruiz, Sr.) and Vincent Edward Carswell II; a brother, Michael Crowe McCann; a sister, Kathleen Grace Jones; and a granddaughter, Mariah Marie Ruiz and a grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Lee Crowe.
