Dalton Alexander Gouge, 23, died unexpectedly February 20, 2022 in Tacoma, Washington. He was born June 4, 1998 in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Dalton graduated from Clover High School, class of 2016. Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Washington.
Dalton loved his daughter immensely. He would light up the room when he walked in and never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Dalton was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ted Laney.
Dalton is survived by his daughter, Aisley and her loving mother, Alyssa Wilson; his mother and stepfather Crystal (Laney) and Ray Stickel; his father and stepmother Terry Gouge and Julie Stoner; his brother Dylan; stepbrother David Stickel and his wife Kaitlyn; stepsister Jessica Stickel; maternal grandmother Nancy Laney; paternal grandparents Diane and Ronnie Gouge; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A service of remembrance and celebration will be held at 1 pm Sunday April 3 at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29708 followed immediately by a reception at Hampton Inn, 1520 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill SC 29708. Arrangements made possible by the US Army and Palmetto Funeral Home.
