Dana Rose Shelby

Dana Rose Shelby passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, at her home. The family will open their home from 7 to 9 p.m. on June 16, to receive friends at 1730 Townsend Lane, Rock Hill. On June 17,at 6 p.m. a Celebration of Life service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill. Dana and her husband Bob shared nearly 57 years of marriage. They had five children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She and Bob served God in many ways including partnering as missionaries in Africa. In the past 15 years, Dana enjoyed painting and mixed media art with a recent show at York County Art Center. The family is thankful for the incredible care she received from Hospice Care of South Carolina and especially Angie, Cindy and Karen. We are also very thankful for many who have assisted us in multiple ways during Dana's long illness. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina or Westminster Presbyterian Church in lieu of flowers.
