Daniel Edward Berish

Daniel E. Berish age 74 of Fort Mill (formerly of Nelsonville, NY) passed away on Sunday, July 19th, 2015 in Carolinas Medical Center Main in Charlotte, NC. Daniel was born in Patton, PA the son of the late John and Bertha Berish. Mr. Berish was retired from The Readers Digest, Chappaqua, NY and Graymoor, Franciscan Friars of the Atonement in Garrison, NY. Dan enjoyed traveling with his family, fishing, golfing, bowling and billiards.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Loretta, his children: Kevin and wife Regina of Stormville, NY, Kenneth of Fishkill, NY, Kathryn and husband Doug Janeczko of Warwick, NY, and John and wife Cathy-Jo of Chesapeake Beach, MD. Dan had eight beloved grandchildren; Danielle, Amy, John Christopher Jr., Kristen, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Michael and Robert. Dan is also survived by his sister Jean Ann Fitzpatrick and husband Jack of PA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Rose Doubt of PA.
A funeral mass will be conducted by Fr. John Giuliani, C.O. at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22nd at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Rd. E. in Fort Mill, SC.
A Funeral Mass and Burial will be conducted in Cold Spring, NY at a later time.
