In Memory of Danny Lee Hill

Danny Lee Hill went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 28, 2023.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mt Gallant Road, Rock Hill SC.  A memorial service celebrating the life of Danny will begin at 3 pm at Lakewood Baptist Church.

Danny was born and raised all of his life in Rock Hill, SC.  He was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.  Danny knew the Lord and he shared his faith with everyone he met and would share how God had changed his life with a joyful and happy smile on his face. He loved making others laugh and he could tell endless jokes that would keep you laughing. He worked with his family in their family business known as Harbor Inn Supper Club and Fish Camp for many years. He was a Manager of Sales for Muzak for 40 years. He could sell like no other, it was a gift that he was given and he loved every minute of it.  He always had life advice for his many nieces and nephews and he took the time to teach and explain to them and he was always there to help when anyone asked, no matter if you were family or not that is just who Danny was.  He had a servants heart and would give you his last penny, if he knew that you needed it.

Danny leaves behind his loving and dedicated wife Sheila Haire Hill of 50 years.  His fur baby, “Zack” of which he loved dearly.  He was predeceased by his daughter Chesnie Kimberly Mullinax and his son Bryant Hill.  He is also survived by his brother Kenneth Bernard Hill.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents Willie Bernard Hill and Beatrice Horton Hill Whitesides, his sister Martha Joann Wright and Katherine “Kathy” Sue Hill Alexander


In memory of Danny, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the American Cancer Society or Lakewood Baptist Church.
