David Donald Basso

David Donald Basso, age 71, passed away on Friday, April1, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System in Pineville, N.C. He was formerly a resident of Fort Mill, S.C.

David is survived by his wife Judy A. Basso of Fort Mill; two sons: Todd and Trent Basso; and one daughter: Taralee Woloszyk. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Ava, Sarah, and Sydney Basso.

David was a member of The Michigan Club of Sun City as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was on the factory management council for Buick Motors. David served in the U.S. Army and earned a National Defense Service Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, and a Sharpshooter Badge.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 at 11:30 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill with Father John C.O. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in David's name may be sent to the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Building Fund, 292 Munn Rd. East, Fort Mill, S.C. 29715.
