David Andrew Brafford

David "Andy" Brafford, 51, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at his home in Denver, NC

He was born on August 30, 1964. Andy was a pilot at heart and started his flying career at the age of 16 years old. He was a pilot instructor for Southwest Airlines and a chief pilot for CC Air. He loved the beach and lived in North Myrtle Beach for years. He was also known as a great handyman that could fix anything.

He is survived by his father Larry Reid Brafford of Charlotte, NC, his mother; Gwinet Brafford of Fort Mill, SC, his fiancé; Carole McRee of Denver, NC, a daughter; Morgan Brafford of Yucca Valley, CA, and a brother; Jeff Brafford of Fort Mill, SC.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Sult officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
