David William Fisher

David William Fisher "Bill" of Fort Mill, SC, peacefully passed away at the age of 89 on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

He began his career as a chemist with General Tire in Akron, Ohio. He followed the company to the Charlotte, NC plant and, after 30 years of service, retired from Continental Tire.

He loved his home and enjoyed working in the yard, doing crossword puzzles and visits from the family. He also was an avid golfer.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Nina. He is survived by four children, Jan, Karen (Craig), Steve (Ashley), and Laura (Herman), seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at The Blake at Edgewater and Via Health Partners. Their compassionate and supportive care provided during his stay, will not be forgotten.

Funeral proceedings will be private.
