David Lawrence Hunt

On February 14th, 2018, Beloved husband, adored father, wondrous grandfather, cherished brother/brother in law, favorite uncle, respected father in law and devoted friend/mentor, Dave Hunt took his last breath on earth and his first breath in heaven. Dave is survived by his wife Linda, daughters TinaMarie Mueller, Tricia Prosch, Sons in law David Mueller, Jay Prosch, Grandchildren Nicholas & Cassidy Prosch, Sisters Maryann Kappeler & Patti Hunt, many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

He was born to Mary & Howard (Slim) Hunt in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 4th 1945. In 1963, he met the love of his life Linda Petredis in the mailroom of the Heinz Ketchup Corporation. Their love story spans over 50 years and is cherished by so many. Married 4 times, divorced once in between, love was never absent between them.

Dave was known as a quick wit and never left a room without leaving it in filled with laughter. Friends, family and acquaintances knew they could call on him for anything at anytime. With over 29 years as a friend of Bill W., Dave devoted his life to helping others live life day by day and finding serenity.

They say life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage. If this is true, and we believe it is, our lives swelled beyond measure as we witnessed his bravery in recent weeks. In true Dave fashion, his tenacity did not waiver as he fought valiantly through his illness and continued to be strong for all of us. His last spoken words were, " I love you" and with that, he left us on Valentine's Day, his heart filled with the love that surrounded him.
