David DeWayne Saunders It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I must inform everyone that my husband, friend and the other half of my soul left this earth on Monday, August 4th of 2014 and has moved on to a better place. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Dermont David Saunders. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Elizabeth Frye Saunders of Rock Hill, SC; his mother, Shirley Hulsey Saunders of Charlotte, NC; sister, Cindy Saunders Burnett of Charlotte, NC; nieces, Rebecca Burnett and Robin Konot and her daughter, Ahleena. Visitation will be Friday, August 8, 2014 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Dr, Fort Mill, SC. A memorial service will be held at Archdale Church of Christ in Charlotte, NC on Sunday, August 10th at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mended Hearts Chapter 289, care of Cardiac Rehab Dept., Piedmont Medical Center, 222 S. Herlong Ave, Rock Hill, SC.
