David T. Shank

David T. Shank, 82, of Ft. Mill, SC, and formerly of Roanoke, VA, passed away Saturday,
April 12, with his loving wife by his side.

He was predeceased by brothers, Billy, Michael, and Steven; and sister, Mary Swann
Lantz. 

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Fitzpatrick Shank; daughter, Jennifer Shank; son,
Chad Lahar; granddaughters, Carrie Davis and Jenna Lahar. 

David was employed by Norfolk Southern Corp. for 34 years. He was known for his quick sense of humor and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was deeply loved by his family
and many friends. 

Special thanks to his caring neighbors and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care
