Birdsong for Diane
A soulful voice invokes harmony and love. Each greeting note radiates her beautiful spirit. A genuinely positive, calm demeanor enriching and touching many lives.
Diane Watson was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 20, 1951 and moved to Portsmouth, VA to establish her career and raise her family. Early on she worked as a registered dietitian and shortly thereafter she began a twenty year career with the Hampton Roads Transit.
Family was an important component to her life. She was a devout, caring mother and was extremely proud of her two sons. Sadiki and Tejan received unbounded love and support. Her three grandchildren were a source of pride and joy. As an older sister to Alicia, she was always available to lend an ear.
Diane's humble nature was treasured by both friends and family alike. Her strong spiritual faith resounded to others as prayers, blessings and well wishes.
What a bright beacon of light. We have been so fortunate that Diane has graced our friends and families lives.
Her showering spirit will remain with us always.
Diane Watson is survived by her beloved sons, Tejan Tingling and his wife Tricia, Sadiki Tingling and fiancée Christel, her sister Alicia Walker and husband Mark.
She was well loved and cherished by her wonderful grandchildren, Torez, Teya and Zaïon Tingling.
