Dolan Keener

Dolan Kermit Keener age 66 passed away Monday, November 4, 2013. He was the only son of the late Carl and Elvie Keener of Kannapolis, NC. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Gail Keener, his sister; Shirl Keener of Bangs, Texas, three nieces; Brooks Murphy, Rebekah DeFeo, and Stephanie Henery, his great nephew; Travis Murphy, his godson; Robert DeVita, his brother-in-law, and as of late his best friend; Dr. J. David Woodson. He attended Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, NC; and Virginia Commonwealth University with major interest in Photo-journalism. He was employed by Qualex a division of Kodak. He enjoyed working in the photo finishing industry and was an amateur photographer. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Rock Hill, SC. He was an avid reader and a true animal lover. His ever faithful companions were Pinky, Jessie, Daisy and Blue Boy. A funeral service for Dolan will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Real Life Assembly, 1930 Pleasant Road, Fort Mill, SC 29708. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, November 8, 2013 at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
