Donald E. Erb, 69 of 2248 Neely Store Rd. passed away Thursday December 2 2010 at CMC in Charlotte. He was greatly admired and respected for his extensive knowledge of welding in the construction field. Don loved building hot rods and attending custom car shows. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Brenda and daughter and son in law Tina and John Garry of Frisco, TX. Family will receive friends Saturday December 11, 2010 from 1-3pm at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home where a Memorial Service will follow at 3:00pm. Rev. Terry Wingate officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Susan G Komen For the Cure, 505 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203 or online at www.komencharlotte.org.
