Donald Lee Storms

Donald L. Storms, 83, of Waxhaw, NC died on March 2, 2018. Funeral services will be
conducted Tuesday, March 6 at 5:00 PM at Central Church, 5301 Sardis Road, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends during visitation from 4:00 - 5:00 PM prior to the service.

Mr. Storms is survived by his wife, Diana, son Lee Storms and wife Tammy, daughters Gail Smith and husband Jack; Brenda Zimmerman and husband Colin and 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother Ray Storms and wife, Audrey; sisters, Sharon Storms and Joanne Tobin and husband, Joel Tobin. Stepsons Joe Eustace and wife Lora, and Robert Eustace and wife Kathy. Stepdaughters Gina Minor and husband John; Dawn Blewett and husband John.

Mr. Storms was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth and his son Wesley.

He achieved great success throughout the duration of his career. He was a Christian gospel singer with the group The Envoys and was host of a Christian television show "More Than Music", and he went on to be a highly successful businessman and owner of C&S Builders as well as numerous other successful ventures.
