Donna Kay (Chandler) Funderburk

Rock Hill, SC – Donna Kay Chandler Funderburk, age 62, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at MUSC Health Chester Medical Center.

A native of Rock Hill, she was the daughter of the late James and Lois Roscoe Chandler.  She retired a self-employed sheetrock finisher.  She attended Family Life Christian Center and was a member of Vision Ministries of Rock Hill.  Donna enjoyed sewing and crafts.

She is survived by four daughters, Regina Reed, Jessica Douglas (Henry), Eunice Collins (Jason) and Felicia Howson (Justin); 2 brothers, Jo Jo Chapman and Shorty Chapman; one sister, Ann Bennett Chandler; 8 grandchildren, Destiny, Dalton, Lexie, Jayson, Kayla, Elyssa, Raelyn and Wes and 3 great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Alexander and Kinsley.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Wylie Funderburk and her sister, Shirley Chandler.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Whitesell Funeral Home Chapel, 975 Riverview Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park Hollis Lakes.
