Dorothy Robinson Gordon

Mrs. Dorothy Robinson Gordon, 84, formerly of York passed away Monday August 9, 2010 at Unihealth of Rock Hill. A native of Lowrys, SC Mrs. Gordon was born September 10, 1925 a daughter of the late James R. and Nanie Vantassel Robinson. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her husband Ervin B. Gordon, also seven sisters and two brothers. Surviving are three children Eddie Gordon and his wife Audrey of Bennettsville, Ron Gordon and his wife Elisa of York, Robin Muse and her husband Hill of Rock Hill; one sister Madeline Hagler of York; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Gordon will be held 10:00am Wednesday at Bethesda Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Smoak officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in honor of Mrs. Gordon to Bethesda Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund 4858 McConnells Hwy York, SC 29745.
