Mrs. Dorothy Faber Lawson age 80 died Saturday August 14, 2010 in Charlotte. Born in Cleveland, Ohio a daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia Vrabel Faber. Mrs. Lawson was a homemaker a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill were she was involved in the Wise Old Owls.

Survivors include her daughters Paula Marie Lawson of Lockport, NY; Andrea Jeanne Kolarik of Westlake Ohio and Tracey Anne Piper of Fort Mill; one son Thomas George Lawson of Painville, Ohio; one brother Joseph Faber of Wickliffe, Ohio; four grandchildren Heather Insana; Jordan Kolarik; Jonathan Piper and Taylor Kolarik. Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by her husband Thomas George Lawson and son Robert John Lawson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday August 17, 2010 at 3 PM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill with father John Guiliani C.O. officiating. Burial will follow in the Steele Creek Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 at the church.
