Dorothy Lee (Whitaker) Sims

Fort Mill, SC - Mrs. Dorothy Lee Sims, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2024.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Flint Hill Baptist Church, Fort Mill SC 29715.   The service will be livestreamed over our Facebook Page - Palmetto Funeral Group - and our YouTube channel - Palmetto Funeral Group.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family have a reception and receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

A native of Heath Springs, SC, Mrs. Sims was a daughter of the late Juson L Whitaker and Pearl Bower Whitaker.  Mrs. Sims worked for 13 years as the Catawba River Associational Clerk in Morganton, NC.

Mrs. Sims is survived by her son, Terry Len Sims of Fort Mill.  She was the widow of the Rev. Theodore Alexander Sims, Jr. whom she was married to for 61 years.
