Dorothy Wallace

Rock Hill - Mrs. Dorothy Jennings Wallace, 88, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, at Laurelwood Cemetery with the Rev. Linda Jenkins officiating.

A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Wallace was a daughter of the late John Landrum Jennings and Lula Bruce Jennings. Mrs. Wallace was the youngest of seven children. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Rock Hill. She was also a home maker.

Surviving are her daughter, Carol Westbrook and husband Jack of Rock Hill with whom she lived with for the past three years; three sons, Bill Wallace and wife Ann, Joe Wallace and wife, Carolyn of Rock Hill, and Tom Wallace of Rock Hill; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George William Wallace, Sr.; four brothers, Frank, Ernest, John and James; and two sisters, Ruth and Martha.
