Rock Hill - Mr. Andrew Scott (Drew) Blackwood, 31, died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Whitesell Funeral Home with Rev. David Sealy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home and other times at the home, 1126 Strugis Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730

Surviving are his mother, Teresa Blackwood Rose; a son, Andrew Scott Blackwood, Jr.; a brother, Michael Smarr; five sisters, Maleah Rogers, Cecily Davidson and her husband, Phillip; Brandy Mullinax, Summer Mullinax and Selena Mullinax; his grandmother, Cecilia Blackwood; and his caregiver, Yolanda Deal.

Drew was a body shop technician who took pride in his work. He was full of energy, love and life. He loved to ride his motorcycle and drive his truck. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed the lake, the beach and anything that was fun. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family and friends. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Rock Hill where he committed his life to Christ.

Memorial donations may be made to the Drew Blackwood Memorial Fund at any Founders Federal Credit Union.
