Dusan Petrovic, 62, of Rock Hill, passed away November 14, 2008 at Carolinas Medical Center Pineville. He was born in Yugoslavia, in 1946. He was a member of the Yugo Army and in 1968 he and his wife Ana immigrated to The United States. He was actively involved in the community. In years past he was a member of the York County Amateur Radio Society, coached youth soccer and most recently a nine year member of the American Legion Frank Roach Post 34. He was a master craftsman and his favorite activity was golf. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Ana Petrovic; son Nick Petrovic; daughters Mary Sherwood and husband Jeff, Diana Pirozzi and husband Ryan, Angie Douglas and husband William; and three grandchildren, Nikolas Sherwood, Christina Sherwood and Isabella Pirozzi. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Sunday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Petrovic will be held Monday at 11:00am at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens with Reverend Richard Taylor officiating. Military honors will be provided by The American Legion Frank Roach Post 34 Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the York County Chapter of The American Cancer Society.
