Dwight J. Butterfield

Dwight J Butterfield, age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 31, 2018.

Born in Taylorville, IL he is the son of late Lloyd & Fern Cocagne. He is preceded in death by his wife, Irene (Desjardins) Butterfield and his son Dale J. Stevens.

Mr. Butterfield was an Army Veteran, retired from A.E. Staley's, owner of Butterfield's Tax Service and had a love for volunteering most recently with CMC and Hospice. He attended Forest Hill Church, Ballantyne.

He is survived by his daughter, Devra (husband Mike) Brabec; son, Roy (wife Susan) Stevens, daughter in Law, Mary Stevens, 9 grandchildren, & 5 great grandchildren.

The family is being served by Palmetto Funeral Home of Fort Mill, SC.

Services for Mr. Butterfield will be private.
