Earl "Rusty" Palmer Glasscock III, age 56, of Catawba, South Carolina passed away on Monday February 19, 2018 after battling an unknown illness for over 2 years. Rusty was born in Bamberg, South Carolina on December 28, 1961 to Earl Palmer Glasscock Jr. and Patricia Langford Glasscock.He grew up in Denmark, South Carolina and moved to Lexington in 1977. Rusty graduated from Lexington High School in 1980 where he was voted friendliest for his senior class, and from Clemson University in 1984 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He married his high school sweetheart, Holly Healy, 31 years ago in Lexington, South Carolina. He was employed by IMI Norgren out of Littleton, Colorado, where he was a Key Account Manager. Rusty was an avid fan of Clemson football. He enjoyed camping with his family, golfing with his buddies, and driving his tractor on the farm and was dubbed "Rusty Tractor" by a neighborhood child. Rusty could always be counted on to help a neighbor, family, or friend. Rusty is survived by his spouse, Holly Healy Glasscock; his son, Evan Glasscock (Ashley); his daughter, Alex Hopkins (Jeremy)and hisgrandson, Gavin, on the way;his mother, Patricia Langford Glasscock; sisters, Elaine Peterson (Jim), Tara Thrasher (Tommy), Suzanne Glasscock; his aunt, Barbara Glasscock and nephew, Billy Moore, who reside with them. A Celebration of Rusty's Life will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Neely's Creek ARP Church in Rock Hill with Pastor Matt Joldersma officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Family Life Center. Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
