Eden
by: Aimee Joseph
Eden, you were our taste of Eden,
Our dear, sweet, precious one.
Eden, our bright, beautiful beam,
You’ve returned to Him, the sun.
Eden, last to come into our family,
You’re the first to return Home.
Eden, your love has changed us,
You’ll be with us even as we roam.
Eden, your precious years with us
Left us with a priceless, eternal gift.
Eden, such a tremendous love
Leaves us an unthinkable rift.
Eden, soon and very soon,
We’ll see you whole and healed.
Eden, until we hold you again,
He will be our sun and shield!
